Alma Haser
Alma uses a type of image manipulation technique in which she first takes same size photo portraits . She then takes a 3D origami image and places this on the 2D portrait (usually on the face) . Her final step is to then merge the two images into a final 2D portrait.
I think that this idea is a great way of interpreting plastic surgery (title). I love the way the eyes appear out of the origami shapes and it sides that seem like there opening making it look like it is morphing in a new a new creation. I think this represents the change in plastic surgery not only in a physical but also in a emotional way through the eyes of the subject.

I love the amount of detail in this image , with the amount of layers that the origami and the circular shape causing a 3d effect that looks like the face is growing and coming towards you.
This I think is a great way of creating a surreal look to an image.
